In his private time, Mark volunteers as a lay minister at the Nebraska State Penitentiary, helping to conduct worship services and bible studies.

Mark Cooper has worked at the Center on Children, Families, and the Law since 1991. Until 1998 he worked mainly on assessment and evaluation projects. Since then, Mark has been a member of the training staff. He currently serves as Training Coordinator and is responsible for oversight of training for juvenile parole officers in the state of Nebraska. He is also a member of the Curriculum Review and Oversight Committee at CCFL. Mark's prior work history includes 16 years in the field of adult and juvenile corrections.
