Homeless Coordinated Entry

Coordinated entry systems are designed to ensure that anyone experiencing or at-risk of homelessness is assessed in a standardized manner, is prioritized according to need, and is referred to the earliest available and most appropriate resource. In the Nebraska Balance of State and Lincoln Continuums of Care, the coordinated entry system is called All Doors Lead Home. All Doors Lead Home prioritizes limited housing resources by connecting people experiencing homelessness with the most appropriate housing program available based on their needs and encourages collaboration between homeless service providers to reduce duplication of efforts. All Doors Lead Home is also designed to divert people who have other safe options for housing away from the homeless services system to prevent their homelessness. Members of the Center on Children, Families, and the Law Community Services team are responsible for the design, implementation, and management of All Doors Lead Home.
