CCFL’s Community Services Division celebrated the grand opening of The Jay on Dec. 10, the City of Lincoln’s first permanent supportive housing building!
The Community Services team had championed this project from the outset, collaborating with CenterPointe (project manager) and the Lincoln Housing Authority to select the 24 individuals experiencing chronic homelessness who will now call The Jay home.
This housing initiative grew in part from a report titled “The Community Cost of Chronic Homelessness” on our website. CCFL will lead the program's evaluation moving forward.
