Paulette Sombke-Hansen is a Child Welfare Field Training Manager and Trainer with the University of Nebraska Center on Children Families and the Law. Paulette's focus is the transfer of learning from the classroom into the field. As a trainer Paulette helps new child welfare workers in the state of Nebraska as they prepare for working with Nebraska's vulnerable and their families. Paulette is also a Stewards of Children trainer through Darkness to Light. Paulette worked in the child welfare field for over seventeen years prior to being employed the Center and is also a Certified Forensic Interview most recently retiring from First Light Child Advocacy Center in Grand Island Nebraska.
