Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Proclamation

CCFL’s Community Services Division was honored to be with Governor Pete Ricketts as he presented a proclamation on Nov. 10th to bring awareness to hunger and homelessness.

Jeff Chambers spoke on behalf of the Nebraska Commission on Housing and Homelessness and CCFL. “When unfortunate circumstances occur, it is incumbent upon all of us to provide the resources, support, and policies that ensure hunger and homelessness are rare events—and when they do occur, that they are of short duration and non-recurring.”
