CSI is an ongoing planning and implementation process for human services coordination in Lincoln and Lancaster County. The Center on Children, Families and the Law participates in the CSI planning by providing the CSI Leadership Team and the CSI Coalitions expertise on data identification, collection, and analysis. Through CSI, CCFL has created and generated for the community the Lincoln State of Caring Index - comprised of multiple quality of life indicators that measure over time the progress of the community in areas such as economic and financial well-being, safety, and youth development. The State of Caring Index annually compares Lincoln on these measures and to similar comparison cities. In addition, CCFL assists each CSI Coalition measure specific areas their CSI Plan address.
