What Denise enjoys most about her job at CCFL:
I enjoy the collaboration across Nebraska in the Balance of State and Lincoln. The saying, "Two heads are better than one," rings so true when trying to help those experiencing a housing crisis. Working in silos doesn't make a user-friendly system for those needing assistance. It has been super cool to watch most agencies come together and break down those silos for the better good of those we serve. Not to mention the staff are really cool people to do hard work with!

In my downtime, I enjoy crafting, gardening, reading, and spending time with my family! My favorite food is pizza, but I will also never pass up Indian or Thai food! If someone is looking for a fantastic book to read, I'd say "The Color Purple" is a must for everyone! I couldn't put it down and was very sad when I finished reading it for the first time.
